Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use my Diamond Soft Foot Scrubber?

Our recommended process is soak your feet for several minutes or use at the end of your shower or bath. Hold the handle and gently rub the dome scrubber over any calluses using small circular or scrubbing motion. Rinse the area well and apply your favorite hydrating lotion or cream to the area. Finally, don't forget to rinse your Diamond Soft with hot water after each use.

If you need a deep clean, check out our cleaning question down below.

Is your product hypoallergenic?

Our product is largely hypoallergenic. However, there is a chance that the proprietary metal coating on the diamonds contains nickel. We advise those with nickel sensitivity issues to not use our product or use at your own risk.

Are your diamonds natural?

No, they are lab-grown, but no worries. Lab grown and natural diamonds are chemically the same, just one is man-made. Check out our Features page and our Sustainability page for more info.

How is Diamond Soft a sustainable product?

Please check our Sustainability page to learn about how our product is sustainable.

Why does Diamond Soft hurt when I use it?

It is likely that you don’t have calluses on that area, are applying too much pressure, or that the skin is irritated or injured and needs a break. Discontinue use for a few days to a couple of weeks and then use gently on calluses with small circular motions. If there are injuries or open wounds, wait until those are completely healed before using and use with caution.

My Diamond Soft Scrubber is damaged. What can I do?

Please review our Policies page.

The metal part on my Diamond Soft Foot Scrubber changed color! Why?

This color change is a result from oxidation of the metal that happens over time. This discoloration does not change the usability of the product, nor does it have any negative effects on the human body. If you noticed a quick change, it could be a result of having hard water or water full of various mineral components.

I have a medical foot condition. Can I still use your product to help with treatment?

We always recommend seeking advice from your health provider about specific treatments. However, our product has the same safety as a pumice stone or other similar items, but consult your health provider before use if you still have concerns.

What handle size should I get?

The long handle is great for standing showers or people with limited mobility. The short handle is great for people who prefer to have more targeted control or enjoy baths. Our best advice is consider your storage space, how you’ll use it, and your personal preference.

Can I use Diamond Soft for eczema?

Multiple customers have said that Diamond Soft Foot Scrubber also works well on their eczema, but we recommend checking with your doctor for specific treatment options before use.

Can I use Diamond Soft on other body parts?

Absolutely! Diamond Soft is great for any body part that has rough or dry skin. We recommend cleaning your Diamond Soft between uses on different areas. Directions for usage are the same for feet; however, we recommend a patch test for sensitivity.

How can I clean my Diamond Soft foot scrubber?

You can sanitize your Diamond Soft foot scrubber using most gentle household cleaners. Our favorite way is a gentle soap, a small gentle scrub brush, and hot water. Follow the same rules as washing hands (At least 20 seconds of gentle scrubbing with the brush, covering the metal scrubber). Rinse well, and avoid scrubbing the bamboo handle. You can also use rubbing alcohol afterward to disinfect.

We do not recommend putting a Diamond Soft foot scrubber in the dishwasher or similar machinery because the water and high temperatures can warp and damage the wooden handle.
